"Big Kid" themed 30th birthday party ideas, do you need?

So my husband is a big kid at heart, and I want to throw a party for his 30th birthday impressive this fall. There will be hot then, and I'm thinking of making a "big boy" is the theme. We just got married this winter, so we want to be a success! It will probably be a book superhero / comic type of theme to a child small. I'm thinking a bouncy bridge, pool games, piñatas filled with items for married adults (liquor bottle plastic Scratch off tickets, spicy Mexican candy). I also plan to nail the koolaid, gelatin (shots), the pigs in a blanket, macaroni spicy chicken fingers, cakes and candy or hostess, etc, such as food. Maybe a guitar hero competition. Some of my friends even suggested making it a slumber party (do not drive drunk) I wonder if anyone has done this before and has some advice or if anyone has any ideas to really push on the top and the party a great success! I would love additional food / drink ideas, as well as ideas for activities and decorations.

you should have a big wheel race! pick up a wheel of some big three cycles (or borrow them from friends with children) and adults try to squeeze them and the race! maybe set up some roadblocks of toy or something they have to navigate around. perhaps a kind of obstacle course! You could get some kiddie pools with elements that have to fish with their toes (like marbles, making the super cold water!), they jump rope 10 times while singing itsiy-Bitsy Spider, hopscotch, bubbles, and then fill a water balloon and throw it through a lens ….. the list goes on forever! make all the fun things you did as a child just an obstacle Throughout the course, maybe find a small trophy for the winner. food make food fun for children, such as hot dogs, ants on a log, cheese and fruit cut into shapes, chicken nuggets, pickles, black olives (not loved playing with the black olives as a child!) sweet, build your own ice cream sundae bar ….
