Inflatable Pool On Deck

Inflatable Pool Question?
I am thinking on buying a 12 x 12 inflatable pool and putting it on my deck because I don’t want dead grass, my deck is fairly large and is about 5 to 6 feet off the ground, the boards are that plastic composite decking stuff. The pool holds 530ish gallons, I really need help.
You are wanting to know if the deck will hold it? One pint = 1lb.
That would be 8 lbs per gallon. That’s about 4300 pounds of water in your pool. You have about 114 sq ft. of area in your pool. So then you have about 94 pounds of weight per square foot.
To be safe, you may want to add some support under the area of the pool.
That said, if you deck is not rotten underneath, and you have good footings, and the joists are at 16″ on center, you should be ok.
I suggest you have someone with structural knowledge look it over before you do it to make sure you don’t have a catastrophe.
