Inflatable Pool Vacuum

If you have purchased the above ground pools with the inflatable top piece…?

How do you use the vacuum.. and how and what type of maintenance is needed to keep it from turning green.. Its my first pool and I have had an absolute terrible time with trying to find out how to keep it crystal clear… I have a 15′ round inflatable pool that I bought from Wal-Mart… can I get a different water pump for it or is that my only option is the one it comes with… And how do I get the crystal clear pool I really want. What do I need to do to keep my pool like I want it?

and we love it. And it is always clear. Yes, the best thing to do if you can is get a bigger filter. Activity is big too. My pool gets activity almost ever day. I have not used a vacuum ever. Because I haven’t found one I like yet. I have the kids do a whirl pool and than all the stuff settles in the middle, I just scoop it up with my net. Your chemicals are really important too. I put a tablet in every night to every other night. If it even seams like it might be getting cloudy, I double the tablets, this is almost like a shock treatment. Just don’t swim right away. Get a good tester, and go by what it says your pool needs. It sounds like a lot for a small blowup pool, but it’s not. You will get into a routine and you should have crystal clear water. Again, I have had the same pool for three years and have had great luck with my water. Good luck!
